The Public Policy Hub Second Annual Conference

On November 30, the Public Policy HUB in the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy (GAPP) successfully held its second annual conference to present the work of its participants for more than a year. The conference attendees came from different backgrounds, all interested in listening to the presentations prepared by our participants on different topics in Egypt, such as community monitoring, performance management for public servants and introducing value chain in productive villages.

A number of keynote speakers took part in the conference, including Hussein Abaza, a senior advisor to the Ministry of Environment, Ghada Labib, deputy minister of planning and monitoring, Nevine El-Kabbaj, deputy minister of social solidarity and Amr Lashin, transformation and innovation director at Care International Egypt.

The two winning teams wereawarded a study tour to the United States, where they will be visiting a number of research centers, think tanks and universities under the mentorship of  Laila El-Baradei, principal investigator of the Public Policy HUB and Mohamed Kadry, manager of the Public Policy HUB.
