AUC and online educational platform Udacity are partnering to bring tech curriculum onto campus next year. President Francis Ricciardone announced the partnership at the RiseUp Summit on the Greek Campus Saturday, noting that it is in line with the University’s mission to be a global, forward-looking institution that benefits the country.
Ibrahim Awad, professor of practice, will moderate a panel discussion featuring speakers John Casson, UK's ambassador in Egypt and Stéphane Romatet, the French ambassador in Egypt.

The Graphic Design graduating class are holding an exhibition “ALT w Shidd". Many of their projects highlight solutions for social and educational problems, and attempt to revive Egyptian culture in its ancient and more modern forms. All of them are graduating as concerned citizens.

The photographic exhibition displays the photos of Arzrouni, a Swiss-Armenian photographer who worked in his father’s photography studio downtown Cairo between 1961-2007. His first portrait was of King Farouk’s sister, Princess Faika, and her family. Both father and son specialized in portrait photography, carving a lucrative niche market photographing wedding portraits, which became highly sought after by the Egyptian middle and upper classes.
